What houseplants can go outside for the summer.?

I have aloe vera and spider plants and wondered if i could put these outside in the nice weather.

What houseplants can go outside for the summer.?
Your Aloe will love the warm sun, and can be kept outside until autum. take indoors if there is a risk of frost. I am in the south west of the UK and we have aloe veras growing on the sea front here.

The spider plant would prefer dappled sunlight as it will loose uts varigation an its leaves, and eventually get sunburned.
Reply:The aloe vera can go out all summer as long as we dont get too heavy rain.atahey can die off from water logging between their thick leaves.Your spider plants can go out for a few hours, which will bring them on and help them grow in the sun,but not too long as the sun starts to bleach the leaves of this plant and can end up killing it of as the leaves are pretty delicate.
Reply:Alocasia.
Reply:Certainly, they'll enjoy the fresh air - and a gentle shower won't do them any harm either.
Reply:Yes most definitely-

all houseplants can go outside however you need to determine if they need sun or shade. bring them back before the weather changes in the fall. be sure to rinse them with soap water to get rid of any bugs.
Reply:yes you can put out these two, also Christmas cacti, Scarborough Lillie's.
Reply:These two and most other houseplants can be safely taken outside for the summer months. Aloe vera wll thrive in the sun while Spider plants prefer semi or dappled shade. I planted my spider plant in the border last year and it grew very well, sending out new 'spiders', which I potted up in autumn and shared out among friends to keep inside over the winter.
Reply:They both can go outside for the summer where there's more light and fresh air.
Reply:I put nearly all of my houseplants outside for the summer. Aloe and Spider Plants both do very well outside. Just be careful to shield them from hot afternoon sun.
