My banana tree leaves are turning brown around thee edges and splitting,then thee leaves die.any help?

i live in greenwood,s.c.and have been growing banana trees.this year the leaves turn brown around the edges and split,eventually the leaves die.i've lost three trees so for .they were kept inside durning the winter just as i done the years before.no beetles are present. i broke the green stalk growing in the middle of the plant only to find a white web like a spider web.is this normal?what can i do to save the rest of my trees? thanks
