Is beer good for palnts?

I have a spider plant that is getting pretty dried out from the heat.

Is beer good for palnts?
Only good for you, I'm afraid. Try smaller amounts of water more frequently. Spray down the foliage once and a while, too.
Reply:not to teen-ager
Reply:Beer is good for the plants but you are doing it wrong. Have a beer then water the plant. Have a beer then water a plant... If you run out of plant before you run out of beer water the neighbors plants and therefore not only are you, and your plants are happy but the neighbor is too. But if your not a beer drinker here is a site that will explain everything you ever wanted to know about a spider plant and were not afraid to ask. :-)
Reply:YES, in moderation!! all the pros on tv show you how to mix it with other ingredients to make a plant picker upper!! but do not use it to revive plants that are stressed out like yours is,,, try miracle grow and water,,,
Reply:Certainly, it attracts the slugs and snails away from them.

Reply:If it is, I will pour the beer on my plants. I don't drink the stuff, and don't know what else to do with it.
