Spider webs in plants?

I have cobwebs growing over my plants inside. The cobwebs are killing my plants. Is there a temporary fix to getting rid of the spiders or cobwebs.....I really don't know what to do....I can't make it to the store for a few days to get a pesticide.

Can anyone help me??

Spider webs in plants?
Spiders aren't repelled by peppers, etc. but they are attracted by bugs, which they feed on. Generally, spiders aren't bad--they actually remove bugs that aren't good, from your environment. Here in Florida we call them "Housekeeping Spiders".

If you are really bothered by the webs, vacuum them away and put your plants outside for awhile, but not in the direct sun. Check them thoroughly with a magnifying glass and, if you can, take some specimens of any bugs they have to your county extension service to see if they can identify them.
Reply:If you have any type of spice like a hot chili spice, sprinkle some of that on the soil of the plant. Shouldnt hurt the plant and the critters dont like it. Remember if you have spiders, you have bugs, cause spiders dont build webs were they cant catch food.
Reply:If you can (weather permitting) take it outside, %26amp; spray it off gently with a garden hose %26amp; air dry. If not put it in your shower and give it a gental wash. It could be spider mites %26amp; they thrive in low humidity. Until you can treat it with a pesticide I would 1st do one of the 2 options I stated above. Then keep misting it daily till you treat it.
Reply:the cobwebs are not killing your plants. You have other problems.
