How do you propagate a bonnie spider plant?

Spider plants can also be propagated by splitting a larger plant into two separate plants.

How do you propagate a bonnie spider plant?
drop one of the shoots into a glass of water. give it a couple of weeks in a window or a sunny spot outside. It should begin to root in the glass then replant in a pot or in the ground
Reply:I am not sure what you mean by bonnie spider plant but if it is like the spider plants I have and their is baby plants hanging from the mother , choose the ones that appear to have roots starting, You can either clip off mother plant and plant in soil ,or I get spaghmum moss and get it wet, wrap a hunk of moss around rootlets of plant , then put a small sandwich bag over moss and root use twist tie to hold in place until you see lots of roots about 1 month . this gives plantlet a better chance. Plant several in same pot they will make babies only if root bound. Good Luck
