There is a room with plants that have to be blown up with explodospiders and then there is a boulder to remove in order to get to the last monkey. I've read that you jump the gap with an explodospider and then throw the spider to the boulder but the spider falls out of his arms each time I jump. How can this be done or is there aother way altogether?

You need to use the gale boomerang so that the explodospider lands right in your hands, then you turn around and chuck the spider at the boulder.
But if you are talking about the boulder on the water, you need to throw the spider at the boulder after you catch it using the gale boomerang. There is nothing you have to jump to get the spider, or to get to the boulder.
Reply:IIRC, you send the bomb spider to the boulder using the Gale Boomerang's multi-targetting capabilities.
