Price of vegtebles is too high so I started growing tomatoes this year BUT I have identified the two spoted spider mite on my plants. I am misting the plants with water as I understand they don't like moisture.
Has anyone tried different sound frequencies or music on these critters?
Spider mites on tomatoes, any music they don't like ?
I haven't tried music, but I would try adding a tiny amount of detergent to the water used for misting the plants. It won't hurt the plants, but it may kill the mites without hurting the surroundings or being toxic to people or pets.
Reply:They're not big fans of speed / thrash metal.
