Here is the list of toxic plants%26gt; http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pag...

I found it on the list of safe plants%26gt; http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pag...

These lists are from the ASPCA..so the spider plant is considered not harmful

Is it dangerous if animals eat pieces of spider plants?
yes it is
Reply:no, it's not, they just enjoy playing and eat them. it's nothing bad unless the bugs are poisenes.
Reply:The National Animal Poison Control Center of the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) can be reached by calling 1-888-4ANI-HELP (1-888-426-4435). The Center consults with animal owners, veterinarians, and others about poisoning exposures and other toxicology issues.
Reply:YES of course it is.!!!
Reply:Not as far as I know (I've really never heard of it being poisonous or anything--and my mom has had plenty of these plants), granted my cat has only licked them now and again, not eaten them (well, actually, maybe he has--when a dried 'leaf' has fallen on the floor, he'll attack it--and nothing has ever happened to him). I really don't think it's a problem. The plants are pretty harmless.
